Engine 2 and Rescue 1 responded to Tedrick St. in the First Due this afternoon for the reported dwelling fire. Captain Angelella was first arriving and reported fire showing from the second floor in the rear. Engine 2 arrived and established the primary water supply while the crew placed attack one in service on division 2, keeping the fire to the rear of the home. Heavy fire was discovered in the attic space. 165 truck would open up the roof while crews from 166,148,126,165,143, and 112 opened up the eves and ceilings. Once the fire was knocked down extensive overhaul was needed to expose some remaining fire in the walls. Crews cleared after 3 hours.
